BANANA SPECIAL
National Research Center for banana (NRCB), Trichy, Conducted research at various Banana cultivating areas and isolated strain of the fungus Beauveria bassiana which is effectively controlling the pseudostem and corm weevil. For mass culturing and marketing of this strain Beauveria bassiana.
We (Tari Bio Tech) had signed MOU with ICAR-NRCB and release the product with brand name TARI Beauvericide Banana Special.
Beauveria bassiana fungus with a population density of
1 x 109 c.f.u./ml.
Apply 5 ml of Beauvericide per pseudo stem trap of 1 feet length by in diluting 100 ml of water. Keep 40 traps per acre.
Beauvericide controls all stages of pests including eggs, larvae, pupae, grubs, nymphs, hoppers and adults.
